Boys to Men and GirlFriends are funded through a variety of ways -- grants, churches, camp sponsorships and individuals. Many needs arise that grants will not fund. Your support enables many needs to be met. Cultural enrichment trips and community service projects are just a few.

Our Summer SKIA program has started!
And this year we are going GREEN!
For the month of June students K-7th will be coming to the Refuge from 8:30 to 4:30. This summer the students are learning what it means to go green. They will learn about recycling, different types of energy and going on lots of field trips to places such as Iris Glen, Bays Mountain and spending a day on the lake.

We are back from Mexico and had a

Home Depot builds "The Gathering Place"
Thanks to Home Depot volunteers and the Fire Fighters from station 3, we now have an outdoor pavillion to be used for meeting space and eating. The "Gathering Place" will seat 50+ people. This space is a great addition to our space here at the "Refuge". We will now be able to entertain and accomodate more folks. So thank you again to all the volunteers who helped make this possible and a special thanks to Home Depot for supplying all that was needed to make this happen.
Courts for Kids by Bracken Paving
For those who don't know what this is Bracken Paving chooses an organization in need of an outdoor basketball court and this time around Bracken chose Boys to Men as it's recipient. The ground has been graded and the asphalt has been laid and all of the kids are very excited about having and outdoor court. More about this project will be added as the progress continues. Many thanks to all the folks involved and the hard work put in thus far by the the Bracken Paving crew.
